I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Jack. I have been away from Regina for a number of years and did not hear about it until now. My grandparents, Jim and Helen Campbell, along with my Great Aunt, Marjorie Campbell, attended Carmichael church and I frequently attended with them. I was always very fond of Jack and I have memories as a child of his very firm and warm handshake at the end of every service. Jack was also there for my Grandfather's passing back in 1983, and his personal and warm sermon at his funeral meant a lot to me then and I still remember his words. Jack was a kind and warm man and the world is a little less with him gone. I'm very sorry for your loss, but know that he touched many lives like mine.

June and Jack were wonderful spiritual leaders in my life!!! Jack ministered to our family whenever we were in need. I worked in Sunday School during his time at Carmichael United and treasured his times of worship!
A life well lived and a great legacy left to cherish his memory in the lives of his family and many, many friends.
God Speed dear friend. Our love and prayers to all the family!

Jack was one of those people I have always looked up to in life. He took his dream to Canada, to study and minister to all who would listen supported by June and their ever growing family. My daughters Julia and Emma only met Jack and June once at Kay's in Norwich but that meeting had a lasting impression on them of the power of prayer. My enduring memory is of Jack's patience teaching me to row a boat on the river at Two Mile Bottom. He will live on in our memories. Love to all the family at this time, Mervyn

It is my honour to have known Jack twice in my life. As a child, when my dad said "Jack Oglesby", I assumed it meant something wonderful like "joyfulness", because my dad was so happy when he mentioned his name. Later on in my life, I sought out Jack, searching for the Joyfulness that had been so elusive for my own dad. The sparkle in Jack's eyes was a reflection of his undying faith in "God as spirit". I am grateful for the time that we were able to spend together & I wish I could have seen him more. I know that he is now no longer in any pain and is reunited with his beloved June for eternity. Jack was a beautiful, kind man and will remain an inspiration to me and a touchstone for my faith for the rest of my life. God continue to bless you, Jack.
peace & love,
