I will always remember my Uncle Albert for many reasons. He gave my sister, Marlene, & I his peddle bike when he went to Regina to work. We went through many fences and finally learned to ride. For that bike we were truly thankful. I also remember that he and Aunt Vicki opened their home to my mother when she was ill and visited her very regularly. They also always were available for us to visit whenever we were in Regina. When I attended Teacher's College I spent many times visiting them and Sherri. Albert and Vicki could always be counted on to be in attendance at all my other Aunts' and Uncles' funerals. We are thinking of Aunt Vicki, Sherri and all family members at this sad time.

My sympathies to Al’s family. I worked with Al at SaskTel in the human resources department. In the more than ten years that I knew him, he never once showed anything but professionalism, integrity, and a hard work ethic. Very few people’s character can stand out that strongly when you remember them many years later. But that’s what Al stood for – hard work and fairness. When people sometimes wonder whether they made a difference in their career, it’s fair to say that Al certainly did. Peace be forever with him, and the family.
