I only just now found out Sid has passed way. I was going through some of my old cards and when his old Kelly&Co Painting card came up it made me wonder how he was doing. I haven't seen him in 30 years - since I worked with him. He was such a sweet guy and at that time we shared our common faith and had many long meaningful talks while painting. I really feel like the world lost a kind soul, and it saddens me to know I have no chance of bumping into him on my trips to Regina. Rest well Sid.

It was just a few days ago I heard that Sid passed. I knew him well from Souls Harbor. I always managed to stay in touch with him from the first time I met him. To hear that Sid passed really made me feel heavy of heart because I knew him for the great person he was. Rest in peace bro, your struggles are over now and rest easy with the Lord and your family in heaven.

To the rest of my family who sees this even too those who don't. Uncle will be missed terably. There are no words to say that can make it any better or even less painful. But as uncle goes up too heaven he is there with the rest of our family. One day will come when we all will be seeing him again when it is our time too walk threw the front gates of heaven. To see him there with the rest of the family. He was a great man in every way possible. He was loved by everyone he has met and he will always be loved by them. Words fail when I wish to express the sadness that I carry in my heart. Sydney was such a friendly being to be with and I TRULY enjoyed his company, He visited many times when I was at dads and we would have great conversations and laughs. May his soul rest in peace, my heartful sympathies, Sydney was to young to go, he was very kind and had a gentle soul. A true loss.

To Connie, Chelsey, & Julian & Kelly family,
Yesterday I recalled a wonderful memory of Sid that I have. He and I painted St. Anthony's R.C. church together - well he painted it really but he asked me to do the gold trim on the altar. He would bring me coffee and these little sesame crackers. I will definitely cherish this memory.
Sid was a kind and gentle soul. May he rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus.

My condolences to Sidney's family and the rest of the Kelly families. I am sorry I was unable to attend Sidney's service, but my thoughts, my prayers and my tears will still be there. I am so glad I made the trip to the hospital that night to say my hellos and I guess my good-byes. He will now be with those who left us in the years gone by. Bless you and may you now rest in peace.
