I would like to express my sincere sympathy to John's family. My Dad, Tom Ellis, was also a resident of Wascana and sadly passed away on the very same day as your wonderful John. In fact, John and Dad enjoyed some meals together in the dining room. Although I didn't have the privilege to really get to know John, I felt such a warm "goodness" about him. He was always very sweet to me when I sat with him and Dad during the supper hour. I'm sure that you will miss him very much. I read his obituary the morning after I scribed Dad's and like you, we wanted to honour The Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. Our families can take such comfort in knowing that they were so lovingly cared for. I wish you peace and comfort in your treasured memories. He was a kind and very good man.

Lois & Family
We were very sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a piece of Pense history, with both you and your families representing the farm area.
John will certainly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. In all walks of life....farming, air force days, socially and the business world he was a good friend.
