Obituary of John William Wood

JOHN WILLIAM WOOD It is with sadness the family of John, late of Woodale Farms, Pense, announce his peaceful passing on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, just three days before his 90th birthday. He was predeceased by his son Grant in 2005. John is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lois; daughters, Glenys of Calgary, Kathy (Ron) of Regina; son Jim (Jan) of Pense; grandchildren, Kenzie (Sean), Lee (Becky), Levi and Paul; great-grandchildren Jager and Andie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families. A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. David Eskdale officiating. The family extends their thanks to all the staff on unit 3-5 at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre for the wonderful care and many kindnesses given to John and his family during the seven months he was a resident.
