Dearest Van, Cindy and Brent:
Brittany, Alanna and I are with such heavy hearts with the loss of our Cookie Jean. I will always hold dear the fond memories of the many laughs Jean gave us throughout my life (and there are so many!). The fanning herself at the kitchen opened window cooling off while you sat there with parkas on in the cold of winter, the funny canker sore comments (you know what I'm talking about!), the dancing to any music that she loved with her hands clapping, the Scottish accent she loved doing, and the green fingernail polish sporting the support for her Roughriders. And the Regina stores will never be the same with their greatest shopper, Jean!
She was our hero in our family taking care of her loved ones in their time of need. She is gone but never forgotten. We miss her and always will.
All Our Love,
Shannon, Brittany and Alanna

Uncle Van, Brent, and Cindy, Please accept our sincere condolences. Words can not express how sad we are at Auntie Jean's passing. It just doesn't seem possible that she can be gone; I guess the best word is one of Auntie Jean's- "unreal". She had a hard go of it the past few years, but I will always remember her healthy & full of laughter from my childhood visits. She was always helping others, putting them before herself. We liked to tease her about her shopping, but she was a very giving person. Rest in Peace, Auntie Jean, until we meet again...
Love always-
Debbie, Greg, Austin, Travis, & Cody Beeber

Van please accept my deepest sympathies for Jean's passing. When I think of Jean, I can't help but remember the many bowling trips we shared together & the great fun we had. Her quiet sense of humour & subtle, well timed, comments always brought a great deal of laughter to everyone.
Jean was a very special lady &, although I never met any of your family, please extend my condolences to them.
My thoughts & prayers are with you
