I met Boonie when Craig and Maria were married and I, like so many others, was taken with his smile, warmth and genuine personality. My thoughts are with family and friends as they grieve his passing.
I had sent this verse to Craig and thought it may give some comfort to others; it seems so appropriate for such a special person loved by so many.
God looked around His garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered "Peace be thine".
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

We remember "Boonie" when he and family moved to Montmartre. They were sponsored by our church and lived in the rectory. "Boonie" was a little vivacioous and charming 8 year old at the time.

There are no words at this time that will ease your suffering Boonie is at peace now with no pain and that is where you find some comfort knowing that he has no more pain. Saying goodbye to any loved one is the most difficult things we must face in life but the memories we hold in our hearts are there forever. I got to meet Boonie at Craig & Maria's wedding and he was a wonderful man a very genuine, kind soul. His life lives on in Nylah. I truly believe that we do not realize how important each day with the people we cherish is until we lose that person. I too have lost the most important person in my
life recently but with time and family the wonderful memories you shared overshadow the sadness. Until you meet again know that Boonie is with you each and every day.
Love Aunt Sue
