I'm sorry to hear of your loss my sympathy for his whole family! I am the granddaughter of Walter and Kae Kasperski ! A few years ago we had talked and kept in touch he gave me the history on my Kasperski side I am happy he had all that information ! Thanks Lindy and May you rest in peace.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of my cousin, Lindy. I know my dad, Gordon, and my mom, Aileen, were fond of Lindy as was I. The last time I spoke with Lindy was a couple of years ago. Lindy would call occasionally and we would have long conversations which always included a discussion of the Kasperski family history. He was a great cousin and I will remember him always. My deepest sympathy to all the family.

To family and friends of Lindy: please accept my condolences at his too-early death. Lindy and I were history majors together at U. of Regina in the late '60's. We commiserated over exams, overdue assignments and similar sources of student angst. Lindy and I and other history students had a bit of fun in a History Students Liaison Committee preparing a sort of "anti-calendar". In 1970 I moved on to BC but kept occasional contact with Lindy and enjoyed visiting with him.
I am truly sorry to hear of his passing.

Only recently I heard of Lindy's passing.This loss will be felt by the community where he was so active. I know him through this work and I knew he brought joy through every door he entered.

Dear Jay,
I was startled and saddened to learn of the death of your father. He was passionate about many things. I recall his great enthusiasm for history and French, some of which I am sure rubbed off on you. Conversation with him was always brightened by his great and infectious smile.

I had the opportunity to become aqauinted with Liny though is visits to the US as a MLA and tehn during his visits visits to Chicago during his ancestral research. He was alsway thoughtful and giving of his advice and assistance. My family came from a town now in Ukraine I could not find on any pre- or post WWI map; but he took it upon himslef to find it and an accompanying encylopedia description of the estate. My wife and I are planning a trip through Rgina this Summer and hoped to reacquaint oursleves with him. He will be missed by all which whom he touched. My condolences and prayers are with his family.

Lindy had a great heart,a generous nature and an infectious enthusiasm for life.His contribution to the Province of Saskatchewan is rightly noted.His interest in and contribution to public policy and local action was excellent.This is the stuff of which coommunities mand nations are built.We could use more Lindys'.
Lindy was fun to work with.When he won a substantial sum in a lottery those of us who shared his work space rushed to his office to call him cousin.

Sincerest Thoughts of Sympathy to Barb, Jay, Dan and the Kasperski family. It was sadness this morning that I read the news of Lindy's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Lindy at my first job - Department of Culture & Youth. Loads of good memories! Lindy was a supportive boss, an enthusiastic colleague and a good friend. I am the daughter of Walter and Kae Kasperski and have just heard of your loss from my brother Shawn. Lindy was a special man and I will always remember how he made time to tell his stories of his travels involving our Kasperski background whenever he stopped in at mom and dad's. Dear Barb, I just saw a posting on Facebook about Lindy and his sudden passing. My condolences to you and the family. He lit up everyone's life that came in contact with him. I remember both he and you befriending me one time when everything in my life was going sour. 1982 a grim year but two great people who helped me through it. he was special and will be missed - warm regards Bill K.
