Nan was a strong woman that we will miss dearly. She had an amazing sense of humour, a beautiful laugh and great wisdom. During this time our hearts go out to Papa Julius, our mom Debbie, Aunt Carrie and Uncle Blaine. We are sorry for your loss and pray in your time of need.

I have many fond memories of my Nan, her "clippy" shoes, her love of the Riders (Green Pride), learning to make cabbage rolls Nan's way, her building my sister's and I Barbie furniture (nicer then our friends expensive store bought furniture) and I remember how proud I was that my classy, rich, fur coat wearing Nan came on a field trip with my class to Ruthaford House to make sugar cookies in the 3rd grade. She seemed to know so much about everything and my young teacher often deferred to her for information. I am blessed to have so many of these memories to focus on from my younger years. I promise to teach my sons and daughter the value of homemade treasures, thank you for giving that to me. Blessed love to Nan's and my extended family.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Auntie Rita, she was always great to Geno and I, especially when she used to sew clothing for me all the time.....I can always remember going over to the house and being in the backyard and watching Duchess.....
