I do apologize for not attending the service. There have been many times in the past few days I have thought of Joanne and her family. There have been many times i have enjoyed her company on the golf course, but I truly remember her bringing the nieces and nephews to the Royal Sask Museum to see Megamunch. There were a few times the creature was under repair and she always bugged me to get it fixed. Usually she spoke of these times with great humor.
My sincere sympathies. Joanne will be missed by all who knew her. Her legend will be forever passed forward.

On behalf of the Joanne Goulet Golf Club members and Executive, I would like express our deepest sympathy to Joanne's family. She was a dear friend and mentor to many of our members. We will miss her golf stories (and every game had a story!), her golf advice, her friendship, and the mysterious egg carton of balls left at various water holes on club nights. Personally, I will miss hearing her say, after flubbing my shot "what the hell was that?" She had a big impact on our club and her presence is already missed. It is my vision that she is now golfing on the most luscious of golf courses where the greens are rolled to perfection, with the sun in her face, not a breath of wind, and she makes her putt!

I had some great games of golf with Joanne in the '70s. Lots of laughs too.

Our family is saddened by the passing of our dear friend Jo.
Joanne walked into our lives when she strolled over to me at the driving range at the Royal Regina and said " you look very determined but you have to get that left shoulder right under your chin and pause at the top". That was over thirty years ago and it was the beginning of the most wonderful friendship I and my family shared.
Jo will be dearly missed in our home,

I was greatly saddened to hear of Joanne's passing, but in retrospect, it was likely the way Joanne would have wanted - very fast and after doing what she loved doing the most.
My first memory of Joanne was golfing in my very first golf tournament at the Royal Regina the year I started playing. Because my handicap was so high, I was paired with her. She was incredibly patient, gave me simple, casual advice and welcomed me to the golfing community without judgement or pretense.
Joanne was an inspiration and an amazing role model. Though she was very accomplished and widely recognized and respected for these accomplishments - she was humble and true.
She will be missed.

Our Ladies Club at The Royal Regina will not be the same without Joanne. She was always the first to make new members feel welcome and encourage and praise all of the rest of us. Let us strive to do the same in her memory.

Saddened to hear of Joanne's passing. I remember her so well at the Canadian Championships. She was so kind to all especially junior golfers. She really was the dominant player from the prairies. No one came close to her. My heartfelt sympathies to friends and family.

I am saddened to learn of Joanne's passing. As a fellow member of the Royal Regina Golf Club, her kindness and gentle spirit were know to all. She gave so much more back to the game then she took from it.
