Obituary of Karen Wood

KAREN WOOD (nee Chapman) It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Karen Wood on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 with her sister and sons by her side. Karen was predeceased by her mother-in-law Edythe Wood; her father Neil Chapman; and her nephew Shael Austring. Karen is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Brian; her loving sons, Colter and Casey; her mother Joyce Chapman; brothers, Brent and David; sister Susan (Paul) Austring and nieces, Micah and Raya; as well as her brother and sister-in-law Tom and Jan Wood and niece Andrea (Trevor) Finch and their children, Taylor and Hunter; as well as many cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral, 1861 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Karen has lived with progressive MS for many years and has spent the last few years in Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. The family would like to thank Dr. Susanne Arndt as well as Dr. Bester and the phenomenal staff on unit 2-5 for the wonderful care and attention given to Karen.
