To Larry, Patrick, Michael and Glenda;
Please accept the heartfelt condolences of the Lister family on the loss of your mom.
Growing up next to you at the lake has left me with great memories, a few of which are;
Your mom and dad going for a stroll almost every evening. Your mom's whistle, which brought all of you home immediately no matter where you were. ( were there really only four of you?)
When going to get Glenda after supper to "hang out", Peggy and I were careful to wait until the Gropp dishes were done, or we would find ourselves drying dishes too! Our protests fell on mrs Gropp's deaf ears! :)
She and my dad were good friends. He too, loved a lively discussion.
Those were all good times, cherished memories.
There's a saying that goes, God gave us Memories that we might have Roses in Winter.
One of the books my dad wrote was about growing up in Moose Jaw. He called it " Roses in Winter".
Enjoy all the wonderful Roses your mom left you! love, Sandra Lister
