To the Barr family.
We are very sorry for your loss. This has been quite a couple years! But both your mom and dad are together in a better place. It was always family first with aunt Joan and I know her memory will strengthen your bond. A wonderful, dedicated woman with more drive and will than all of us put together! The great times growing up with your family will be remembered fondly forever! We are extremely sad we cannot be there today. It hurts to be so far away. Love to all of you. I will be thinking of both uncle John and aunt Joan on this day. Hope to see you all soon. Take care of each other!
Gord and Alexis Maxwell and family.

Aunt Joan was a pillar of strength for her family offering loving kindness to all whom she met.
I remember taking my girls to visit Aunt Joan and Uncle John at their cabin at Clearwater where we were always greeted with hugs along with cookies and coffee or a cold drink. Aunt Joan made the most awesome cookies and would remember our conversations from the previous years visit picking up where we had left off.
Intelligent, strong, faithful, thoughtful, loving and generous are some of the words that come to mind when remembering Aunt Joan. She will be missed by us here on earth and welcomed by those above including Uncle John.
Pat, Lloyd, Mark, Peter, Paul and Audrey, you all carry a bit of your Mom with you to share with friends and family - her memory lives within you all.
Hugs to you all at this sad time,
Kim and David
