Obituary of Geoffrey Miles Strudwick

GEOFFREY MILES STRUDWICK 1922 – 2014 Geoff passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2014. His one true passion was his love of farming and, except for his period of service with the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII, he was involved in the dairy industry. Left to cherish Geoff’s memory are his sons, Dale (Arlyce) of White City, SK and Don (Donna) of Balgonie, SK; grandchildren, Harlen (Jennifer), Craig (Shannon), Darin (Kim), and Amy (Sir) Khounphoumyadeth; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Courtney Strudwick, Aidan and Trystan Strudwick and Noah and Logan Khounphoumyadeth; sister Joy (John) Hopkins of Vancouver, BC; sister-in-law Iris Strudwick of Edmonton, AB; as well as his nieces and nephews. Geoff was predeceased by his dear wife Deen; parents, Ernest and Sybil; and brothers, Wynn (in infancy), John and Mark (Audrey). A Celebration of Geoff’s Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Geoff, may be made to the Children`s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan, Suite 1 – 345 – 3rd Avenue South, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1M6.
