I was so sorry to hear about the passing of a wonderful lady. As a small boy I cherished the good times and adventures at the lake, especiially the Saskatoon berry picking with Mona and the great pies that resulted. Mona was a gentle and patient soul who will be missed by many. I thank her for all the good times and memories.

We were very saddened to hear of Mona's passing last week. Although the opportunity for driveway chats with Mona have been fewer over the last years; we had many over the years since we moved next door in 1980. We will remember her as a good neighbour, a determined and forthright lady and our go-to regarding care of orchids. We will miss her.
