Obituary of Grant Saunders Drysdale
DRYSDALE, Grant Saunders
It is with sorrow, but celebration of a life well lived, that we announce the peaceful passing of Grant S. Drysdale on Friday, March 23, 2018. He was born January 2, 1919, the second of five children to R.W. (Bob) and Marion Agnes Drysdale of Spring Valley, SK. Grant was predeceased by his wife Marjorie (Kalbfleisch); brothers Bob, Hugh and Jim; sisters-in-law Anne, Jeanne, and Dorothy; and brother-in-law Lyle. Left to honor and cherish his memory are his sister Marion Trenholm; cousin Maryan Tisdale; nieces Luetta Trenholm (Jerome), Darlene Cocks (Brian), Gloria Mattern (David), and Marlene Durand (Gilles); and nephews Bob Trenhom (Lynne), Ken Drysdale (Linda), Lyle Drysdale (Colleen), Brian Drysdale (Karen) and Don Drysdale. He will also be thoughtfully remembered by the Kalbfleisch family. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre Chapel, 2180 - 23rd Avenue, Regina, SK., on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Shriners' Hospital for Children 1003 boul.
