I want to extend my sincere sympathy to you, Liz, on the loss of your beloved husband. We met at Wascana Rehab when Dave became a resident on the same ward as my husband Hugo. You can take some comfort in the fact that you spent so much time with Dave making his stay at WCR as comfortable as possible. On behalf of the Little family from Balgonie , I wish to express our condolences to the Kunetsky family with the passing of Dave. After spending 30+ years as a teacher, I consider Mr. Kunetsky to be one of my main role models when I became a principal. I often wondered, early in my admin career, how Mr. Kunetsky-Dave- would have handled the situation I was involved with. I will always remember that "smile" he gave you just before he told us what our "punishment" was going to be. He will be missed.

We offer our sincere condolences to Dave's family at this sad time. I came to know Dave in his second career and into his retirement. It was easy to become his friend and we would try to have coffee at convenient times to reminisce about family, friends and life in general. Dave will be missed by all whom he touched. Liz, Shelley, David and Families,
My heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. During my childhood I have many fond memories of Dave when I would spend time at Baba's. I remember his kind, gentle nature. He was always such a pleasure to be around. I can still picture him and Grandpa in the garden with their hats on and hoe in hand working hard. May the memories you all hold of him help you through. So very sorry to hear of your loss. Mr Kunetsky, being one of his former students it never felt right to call him Dave even in social settings, was one of the great ones! He will be missed but also remembered for being a caring teacher, one who could calm you down just by his quiet demeanour. He was a favourite of many a student.
