Obituary of Nicholas Daniel Kashuba

KASHUBA, Nicholas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Nicholas “Nick” Kashuba, who died tragically on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at the age of 25. Nick was a St. Matthew Saint, a LeBoldus Golden Sun, and attended SIAST in Moose Jaw, graduating with honors in the Architectural Technology Program. His career began at Robinson Residential Design and continued on with Alton Tangedal Architect Ltd. At the time of his passing, Nick was working as Project Coordinator for Graham Construction, a job that he truly loved. Nick was known for his dedication, diligence, and his meticulous attention to detail. He was always curious, inquisitive, and known for going the extra mile on any task or staying additional hours if needed. When Nick wasn’t working, he was in the process of establishing his own business, NDK Design + Draft. Nick had a charismatic personality, a warm smile, infectious humor, and made friends wherever he went. He will be greatly missed. Nick is survived by his Mother Jackeline Slaferek (David); his Father Daniel Kashuba (Denise); Brother Michael Kashuba (Lindsay); Step-Sisters, Rachelle (Bob) and Renee (John); Step-Brother Adam (Kim); Baba Slaferek; Grandma Kashuba; Grandma Gwen; Godfather Uncle Rick Slaferek (Pat); Uncles, Howard (Traci) and Terry (Tracy); Aunts, Loretta and Jennifer (Jim); and a large extended family. Celebration of Life will be held at the Conexus Arts Centre, in the Theatre Lobby on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), 500-2010 Winston Park Drive, Oakville, ON L6H 5R7; Salvation Army Christmas Hamper Program, 2240 13th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3M7; or to Bright Eyes Dog Rescue, 1448 King Street, Regina, SK S4T 4G4.
