Dear Pat and family. I am so sorry to hear of Jan's passing. She was a wonderful addition to Resurrection Parish choir. I was blessed by her quiet and humble demeanor. I was also touched by the obvious deep affection that existed between you Pat and Jan. We will miss her presence in the choir. I am currently in Ottawa and regret that I am not able to attend the funeral service today and sing along with our regular choir. I am glad however that my wife Louise will be singing today. Please know that you and Jan are in my prayers.
With sincere sympathy ... George Kress

My sympathy to Pat and Family, Chrissy, Nicole, Mike and families. Janet and I were good friends and it is hard for me to see her pass at such a young age. She really helped me with my two bouts with cancer in 1985 and 1989. After I lost my leg I stayed with her and Larry and she was kinda like my personal nurse. It really helped my recovery.
After my lung surgery in 1989 I asked my surgeon to describe to me about my surgery. He said I was too technical and would not tell me anything. Well I got really mad. When Janet came to visit I said I am going to get my chart and you can read it and describe things to me. She said that I should't get my chart but I did. She helped me down the hallway and I grabbed my chart and back to the room. She then read it to me and I was happy to hear some of the information. Shortly after a nurse came into my room asking if I had my chart as it wasn't at the nurses desk? I said Yes. She gave me heck and I gave her the chart. After she left Janet and I had a good laugh about the whole event.
Janet was awesome cook. She always would make great suppers and deserts. No one ever left there being hungry.
I am was blessed to have known Janet and have many fond memories of her.
God received a new angel to be with him.

Dear Pat and family
Please accept our sincere condolences on Janets’ passing. She carried her illness with grace for a very long time. As you move through all the firsts without her physical presence, know that she is at peace and still with you in spirit. Brian and I are in Palm Springs but will be home over New Years and would love to visit if you are able. We will be thinking of Janet and will keep her and all of you in our prayers. Love to you, Brian and Marian
