Mary Lee and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Jake's passing. I have so many great memories of him and working with him at the shoe store. He was one of the best bosses I have ever had and I have thought about him often over the years.

Our deepest sympathies to Mary Lee & all of Jake's family, he was a wonderful man with a permanent smile. We were so happy to be a part of Jake's retirement party in Winnpeg, we still talk about that day. He was one of the last great " Bata" employees, he will be missed.

I will remember Jake with fondness. All the times he drove Marylee and me home from work.

Jake was one of the best friends we could ever have. He lived life to the fullest and was a wonderful person. We will really miss him. Our sympathy goes out to the family.

Mary Lee and family - we were so saddened to hear of Jake's passing. We first met Jake when he was delivering the newspaper and walking Sophie. When we got Gracie, we ran into you and Jake many times and always had a lovely conversation. We are so very sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed
