Condolences to Amanda and Ben and families in the passing of our friend "Eddie" Chobater'
I first met Eddie in Sydney , Australia almost 50 years ago where we played hockey both with and against each other, as well as socializing over a favourite Australian beverage. Ed was a determined man, a staunch ally, and a pleasure to be with. He was ever-cheerful and I enjoyed his distinctive voice when he phoned and announced "It's Chobater, let's have a coffee."Several hours later we were up to date on events in each other's lives and in a better mood. We will all miss Eddie.

Ed will be missed by all his buddies at the Riverside Senior men's golf club. 2018 was a miraculous year for Ed. What with his aggressive cancer treatment - his golf game and attitude flourished. He is an inspiration to all his friends. This positive, cheerful character always had a smile and kind word. We're better for him. Thanks for the memories Ed. May your eternal golf game continue to flourish.
