We were very sad to hear that Carolynn passed away. She was a kind gentle soul, full of life. Carolynn was very good to my mom and dad particularly in their final years, always brightening their day. The Tollefson family thought very highly of her and she will be greatly missed.
Sincerely Tim & Lorna.

Dear Sandy and Marlon
What a blessing it has been to be present online and hear all of the stories of Carolynn. I laughed and I wept mostly at the same time! I remember when she painted her red and green self-portrait, strapping it to her back as she made her way back to Regina that summer. And I remember it hanging over Uncle Art's mantle when I visited Regina many years later. I will miss Carolynn greatly. We shared many adventures when she lived in Ontario (and when she visited!) and had many wonderful conversations. She was such a great storyteller many filled with you and your children! May the Lord hold you and your family close in the coming days and months. I miss her so very much. Terry

Sad to hear of CAROLYN’s passing. Just saw her name in the bulletin this Sunday at BBC. I remember her happy personality at the showers & wedding of Brianna & Kirk. I know this will leave a big hole in your heart. Hugs!

My deepest heartfelt condolences to her family. I am devastated but once I breathe through the tears, I feel gratitude for a lifetime of memories of laughter and love ... and so many stories about how much she loved her family and friends. Carolynn was not just a friend but more of a sister. I could always message her or talk with her about this or that. Her gift of words and ability to turn words into a well crafted, concise communication was applauded by myself and all. Her talents were recognized when we worked together at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg, Ontario just outside of Torronto. Surrounded by art was a great time in our lives together. We had met through our love of art. In 2012, we walked across Venice and Rome.
Thank you for being a true friend, Pen-i.

I have not seen Carolynn in person for a very long time but we connected through Facebook some years ago. I have so enjoyed being in contact with her and seeing the photos from her many travels. We shared similar politics and a love for the big wide world. I am so sorry that she has passed. With only the window of social media, I hadn't appreciated how ill she was. Huge, huge love to her family and friends. I hope Carolynn is traveling and loving the world even now, without pain. xxxx
