To The Family of Alex White: Our deepest sympathy. My husband is a resident at the same Care Home that Alex was. They shared meal time together. Alex was always so considerate of his fellow residents, making sure everyone had what they needed. I had many interesting conversations with Alex. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with everyone.

I had the honor of working down the hall from Alex at CKCK TV. He was a wonderful, smart, gentle, quiet man. He would always welcome everyone with a smile. May he RIP.

I want to express my sympathy to the family of Alex White whom I regarded as an outstanding man in so many ways. He was a gentleman, a patriotic Canadian, a family man and as competent a broadcast engineer as I ever knew in my more than half century as a broadcaster. His service in the Merchant Navy was heroic and he was decorated for same. I still recall how grief stricken Alex was at the passing of his wife. I wonder if they still make gentlemen like Alex White. I wonder but I have doubts. May he rest in peace.
