Obituary of Alain Robert Clermont

Alain passed away in Regina, SK on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the age of 69 years. He will be proudly remembered by his son Christian Clermont, along with his loving friends and family from across Canada. His son, Christian, was his true pride and joy, and he loved spending time with him. Alain grew up in Gravelbourg, SK, where he was raised by his uncle and mentor, Father Richard Larivière.  Alain’s passion was being in nature and outdoors. He enjoyed any chance he could get to walk around Wascana Park and kayak on the lake. Alain had a very diverse working career, working at a young age with CBC and Radio Canada as a producer and anchor, then moved on to work in Human Resources and Aboriginal Affairs at various Crown Corporations. Through the years, Alain had a positive impact on the lives of so many. A Memorial Service will be held to honour Alain at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
