I always considered him a honest and kind gentleman with a great sense of humour....we had many great laughs together. Most of all he was a friend. I was saddened to hear of Pats’ sudden passing. He was such a nice man and was active in our Holy Trinity church family. I remember watching football games with him and Linda when our son and their grandson played together for Riffel High. He was a lovely, friendly man and I will miss him. Shocked. I boarded with the Barnes family when Pat, Dianne & Gordon were still in elementary school. Have many fond memories. It was Pat's mother, Louise that arranged a blind date with her sister's, sister-in-law Lorette who reluctantly agreed to join me for an evening out. As a result Lorette and I spent 64 great years of marriage. My sincere sympathy to you Linda and your entire family.
