Ray will always be remembered by me as one of the warmest human beings I have ever met. Scott and Audrey, I can only try to understand how dearly he will be missed. What a loss for all of us. Although I could not join you I sent my prayers and appreciarion for being part of this family. Be kind to yourselves, change takes time. With love to you all, Jane

My brother John said something about Ray that I thought was really the essence of Ray. It went along the the lines of "even when you first meet Ray, he seemed like he knew you for ever". He was a good guy ! I feel real bad for Audrey ,Scott, Mel and the grand kids... this is a pretty big loss. But I know you all have a large support group around you .

Ray was both my uncle and a great friend. I was blessed to know him. Even my friends enjoyed seeing Ray and talking with him. Everyone who knew him was familiar with his character, infectious smile, and positive attitude towards life.
Ray was not a materialistic person...well except for his vehicles. :) He had an exceptional knack and love for cleaning his cars and trucks. For many years, I can remember talking to Ray about cars, trucks, and especially Chevys.
He was the life of any party. He loved music, especially the oldies. When the music was on Ray's foot would start moving and soon after he would start dancing. He was great at getting people going and helping people to enjoy themselves. As well, the man knew how to play a mean set of spoons!
Ray will forever be missed. Family gatherings and the cabin will never be the same. Next time you hear a song you like, remember Ray, get up and have a dance in his memory (by yourself or with a partner).

Aunty Audrey, Scott, and Family, I am deeply saddened by your loss. I will miss Uncle Ray so much. Who will come out and look at my truck to see if I've been taking care of it and keeping it clean? I will miss his laugh, if we were with Uncle Ray we were always feeling loved and having fun.

My sincere condolences to the Landry family. I worked with Ray for 40 years and he was a delight to be around. It didn't matter how busy he was, Ray was always smiling and always friendly. He was missed when he left the Leader-Post and will always be fondly remembered.
