Sister Aggie was an inspiring example of a member of the Congregation of Our Lady of the Missions. May she rest in peace.

To All RNDM Sisters and Aggie’s Family,
I extend my condolences in the loss of one very special woman of God and an angel among us. I just learned of Agnes’ death this evening and saw that both her funeral mass and interment were streamed so I watched both and was united in spirit with all of you. I shall miss sweet Agnes because I always enjoyed her joyful, smiling presence whenever I dropped by for a visit with the sisters at Santa Maria. I will forever remember her twinkling eyes and delightful stories. My favourite story was how she made snow angels one winter in the Santa Maria courtyard. That was Aggie, always young at heart and full of fun. I also remember how much she loved playing cards and watching her Roughriders. I was pleased to see that she lived 100 years! Oh what she has known throughout her lifetime. May she now Rest In Peace after a life well lived in service to God’s people, especially those with special needs. It was very fitting to see the paper nuns on a stick present and singing at her gravesite. I am sure she was delighted with that gesture. Levity was certainly a big part of the joy she brought to the world. Rest In Peace, Aggie. I will miss you when next I visit Santa Maria.
With Love and Sincere Sympathy, Lynda Browning.
