Gloria Michayluk posted a condolence

How sad we were to hear our dear friend Gloria Silcox passed away away——- and it was a long friendship.
Having known brother Ed Michayluk in Terrace in 1962 we heard lots about Lynn & Gloria before meeting them when transferred to Ottawa in the 1960’s.
We had so many fun happy times together. Around the pool in the summer with always so much good food & laughter. Christmas’ together. Turkey at our home & a meatless feast at theirs with the girls dancing in the kitchen after.
They even dared to baby sit our 4 kids a few times.I asked them what they remember about Gloria “ she was always just so nice”.
We enjoyed meeting both Lynn & Gloria’s parents when they visited in Ottawa. She was so proud of her Ukrainian heritage & family.
Since those Ottawa days we have kept in close contact & visited when possible.
Sadly no more——- except thankfully with Gloria Michayluk & her boys who I know will miss her terribly,
Our Love and thank you to all who have been so kind and caring of Gloria in her aging process.
Peace to you all from the Frazer Family, Victoria , BC

I met Gloria when she came to volunteer at the RCMP Heritage Centre. She always took time to visit with the staff and we sometimes had lunch together. Gloria had such a pleasant personality and I always enjoyed her visits. She was a dedicated volunteer! My condolences to her family.

Gloria was a wonderful, kind, caring friend who we met through our parish many years ago. We always enjoyed visiting with her, and she took a genuine interest in our family.
While words can't make it easier for you, we hope that our thoughts and prayers will help support you at this difficult and sad time. May she rest in peace and "May her memory be eternal". Вічна Память!
