We are going to miss you Uncle Buck. We are going to miss your playful way with kids. We will miss your funny comments on “fricken politicians”. We will miss your sayings such as “drop you like a bad habit”. We will miss all the help you would do for everyone and anyone. You will be missed but never forgotten and always in our hearts. Jay, Kelly, Madelyn, and Chloe love you dearly.

Well Buck our lives together began on May 6,1953 and we were never far apart for 67 years. My life was better for having you in it and though my heart is broken; it is not empty because of the love I have for you. We shared some great times and memories that will last an eternity. You were always there for me and my family no matter the job, the place, the time of day or night. Its people like you that make this world a better a place and my life so full of meaning. We had some plans that will be on hold for now..... fishing tinkering and watching TV ..... I don't know what i'm gonna do without you but whatever the future holds you'll be right there by my side as always
There are no words ... only emotions ..... that describe how much i'm gonna miss you. Save me a seat so we can be together again one day
Love you Buddy
From your brother, your friend, your partner for life

I know from experience Gary would give you the shirt off his back. Not only was he a card player, but he played a mean game of chess. My condolence goes out to the family. Gary will be missed by all. Pat Bourret

My condolences to all the family. I had the pleasure of working with Gary when he needed new transportation for his Leader Post business . He was a great client and testament for our vehicles. I remember well the One Million Kilometer Nissan pickup he gave to us for testimony purposes that we used for several years. I will always remember his good nature'd humor and wit. Rest in Peace Gary.

Fran and I were saddened to learn of Gary's passing. We spent many hours hanging out as a group in our formative years. While I only ran into Gary once in recent years, he was true to his character as the obituary indicated. He will be missed. Don and Fran Zerr.

It was an honour of a life time to be a friend of Gary's. He was a blessing to our family. What you saw with Gary was what you got, from the torn clothes, shoes with holes, cap on head, cigarette dangling from his lips and curse words coming fast and furious. And, let's not forget the heart on his sleeve, because, in his own way, he was so kind hearted and patient. He was the first to lend a hand, even before it was asked for. He had a magical way to work himself into your heart, and once there, he wouldn't leave. For us, he became part of the family and our family is hurting very much with the loss of Gary. It will take lots of time for us to be able to move on, and he will always be in our hearts and memories, and conversations. He is all around our place and we cherish every piece of his blood and sweat that helped create our beautiful home.
As much as we are hurting, it is unfathomable the loss for Garth and Dean and their families. We will hold you in our thoughts and prayers.
Tim and Ligia

Thanks to you Tim, and Ligia for your kind words. You and your family we all got to know and it is only people as good as you guys are that Gary takes to so deeply. Your family IS his family, and of that relationship comes Garth and myself. The loss is greater than I can bear and I know your family felt the loss equal to ours. So true, Gary does work into everyones Heart and he will remain there until our own stops beating.
Dean.
