Bonnie & Don: We were so sad when Dale called to say that your Scott had passed. I know there is nothing we can say to ease your grief, but I hope in some small way it helps to know we care and are thinking about you. Take care of each other. -- Love from Dan & Linda (Fowler) Goud, Moose Jaw

Dear Marie-France, Nathan, Connor, and family, Words cannot express how sorry I am to learn of Scott’s sudden passing. It is so difficult to comprehend. It was indeed such a privilege to work with him. Scott was the ultimate team-mate one could ever get lucky enough to work with. A true professional - so smart, poised, conscientious and unwaveringly positive and funny. Scott was a master at creating technical charts and presentations and delivering them in such an enjoyable and relatable manner. He displayed kind and unending patience. His family was his world and he would talk excitedly about upcoming plans to spend time with his sons and Marie. He made an impact that will not fade. I will remember with great fondness, Scott’s quick wit and good humor that made us smile. He will be missed. May your memories in time bring you comfort, peace and strength. With deepest sympathies, Donna Morgan.

Words fall short of expressing my sorrow.

My condolences to Marie-France and the boys. Scott was the first old friend I contacted when I moved back to Sk. I looked forward to our get-together events, sports, music, watching football over a pint, solving the World’s problems with him & Darcy, reuniting with other lifelong friends, enjoyable happy times always. I know Scott had a previous issue with his heart in 1991. As shocked, upset, and sad as I am to have lost a great friend, I like to think that Scott squeezed everything he could into his next 29 years having loved, created life, savoured life to its fullest and was the best person he could be... making anyone and everything so much better just for having known Scott. Rest In Peace my friend. You will be sorely missed by all!

We met Scott & Marie-France when our oldest was a baby - same age as Nathan and at the same childcare provider. Scott's love for his family was so obvious always. He and I have chatted on a few occasions about those times when the boys were so much younger - and the pick up time when all the kids would gather to see who was coming down the stairs to get them! He took great joy in those moments - and all of the kids loved to see him.
To all of Scott's family, Marie-France, Nathan and Connor - we will keep you all in our thoughts and in our prayers always.

Sending my condolences to all of Scott's family. I feel so lucky to have known him. He was such a friendly, smart, positive and interesting guy! I was very lucky to work with him at the beginning of my career. He was always so kind to invite me for coffee with the "guys" and if you had any sort of question or needed help he always took time to assist you. I will never forget his kindness.

I met Scott when he started working for Glasshouse Systems. His education and work history were similar to mine and I enjoyed working with Scott. He was easy to work with, very good at his job, but most important was he was a great person. He enjoyed talking about technology with me as his customer and presenting the latest information he had learned. He loved challenging questions and was always ready with an answer. Over the years, Scott talked more about his family, their trips, and his home projects he had planned. Scott told me how he preferred to drive to Edmonton from Regina for his business trips so that his family could join him. He was always looking forward to what he had planned with his family when they were able to join him in Edmonton. My condolences to his wife Marie-Josee, his sons, and his family. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. I will miss the infectious smile and laughter of my friend.

While I never had the honour to meet Marie-France or the boys, Scott gushed about them in our less than annual catch-up on Facebook. In high school, Scott was the brightest of all of us. He had the creative flare of artistry, his father's IT knowledge and a keen IQ that he was careful never to hold over anyone. Scott was the kind of friend and fellow student who judged no one and as his Obituary highlighted, Scott was resolutely positive. These qualities were infectious, as was his laugh accentuated by his dimples, making Scott a friend to everyone despite strong cliques and his stellar academic prowess. Scott and I were running mates for the Student Rep Council at CCI, and to be sure, our campaign posters blew everyone away!
I am saddened to learn of Scott's passing, yet I know his all too brief life will be cherished and remembered by all those who knew him.
Bon courage and blessings to Scott and his family from the UK,
Jason Kitts
