After a funeral or memorial service, it is customary for the family to host a reception, which can provide relatives and friends the opportunity to personally express condolences and share special memories. This event can be hosted at the Speers Family Centre, or the location of your choice. Regardless of where the reception is held, we can arrange for catering service by choosing from our menu options below.

Our menu of catered food for the funeral reception provides several affordable and popular options to choose from. Each menu option below includes the services of a hostess provided by Speers to serve the event. On gatherings of more than 40 people, a second hostess will be provided at no additional charge.

Families are free to bring in their own food or use other catering services if they wish, however, an additional hostess fee will apply.

Menu #1 - Assorted Dainties and Squares

$3.95 per person

Menu #2 - Assorted Loaves and Squares, Glazed Cinnamon Bread with Cheese

$6.95 per person

Menu #3 - Fresh Buns, Assorted Meat Tray, Cheese and Pickle Garnish with Assorted Squares

$9.45 per person

Menu #4 - Delicious Assortment of Sandwiches, Vegetables and Dip, Pickle Garnish with Assorted Squares

$9.95 per person

*Menus 3 & 4 can add fruit to the assorted squares for an additional $1.75 per person (Min. 50)

Menu #4 - Pizza with Salad
