Funeral Director

We are seeking a full-time Funeral Director to add to our dynamic team. The ideal candidate would have a valid Funeral Director license or be enrolled in an accredited program. An embalming license is not required but would be considered an asset. Assistance with transferring licenses from outside Saskatchewan will be provided if needed.

Funeral Service Administrator

We are seeking a permanent, full-time Funeral Service Administrator to add to our dynamic team. This individual would work directly with our team of funeral directors and client families to assist in all preparations for cremation and/or burial services.

Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

  • Administration work – data entry, obituary writing/typing, registrations of death
  • Answering phones and email inquiries
  • Submitting orders to outside design company for memorial cards, video tributes, etc.
  • Providing support to team of funeral directors – completing paperwork, contacting organizations such as church, cemetery, etc.

The ideal candidate would excel in the following areas:

  • Strong time management skills
  • Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail
  • Works well within short timelines to meet company and client family deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Adobe
  • Displays professionalism, resilience and a strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude and highly motivated

Start Date:

  • As early as June 5, 2023
  • Training will be provided

Hours of Work:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with one hour lunch break

Salary:

  • $20 - $24/hour, based on experience

Funeral Service Attendant

Are you committed to excellence? Do you strive to exceed expectations?

We are seeking an individual or individuals who wish to work casual part time hours as a Funeral Service Attendant. A Funeral Service Attendant will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to: assisting with set up and delivery of funeral services, providing limousine transportation for families, assisting client families and general public in attendance, operation of audio visual equipment and general maintenance such as cleaning facilities and washing company vehicles.

Candidates must have a valid drivers license and be able to lift 50 lbs. Some aptitude for learning to operate mechanical equipment would be a benefit but extensive training is provided. Some knowledge in audio/visual equipment is an asset.
