Obituary of Todd Michael Wiome

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Todd Michael Wiome on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the Regina General Hospital with his loving family by his side.  Todd was a loving husband, father, proud “Papa,” son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend. 

Todd was born June 30, 1964 in Regina where he also made his home.  He was predeceased by his father, Merv Wiome; grandparents Michael and Margaret Wiome and Palm and Lena Gilbertson; and in-laws James and Judy Gledson.  Todd is survived by his loving wife Corinna; his sons Christian (Kassandra Bentz) and Jonathan (Paige Schaffer); daughter Cierra; and his only grandson Parker whom he adored; his mom Joan (Eddy); sister Marlin (Darryl) Webster of Indian Head; brother Tim (Nadine) Egler-Wiome; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy (Mike) Muzylowski  and Chad Gledson (Staci).  He will be fondly missed by his many nieces and nephews, Dawn (Darryl) McDermaid (Nixon and Kenton), Brooke Webster; Kayden and Ben Egler-Wiome; Ashley McCall (Barry), Taylor (Makayla) Muzylowski and Samantha Muzylowski (Kevin) and children. He will also be missed dearly by his many other relatives and large circle of friends. 

Todd will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and genuine love of people, coaching, officiating in minor hockey, sense of humour, passion for flying and always lending a hand to others.  He made friends wherever he went and never forgot a face or name.  Todd always had open arms and a big smile for everyone he ever met. 

When Todd was younger he spent much of his time at the family cottage located at Katepwa.  He loved the outdoors and loved to golf and fish and was an avid sports fan.  He loved his Riders, Toronto Maple Leafs and Minnesota Vikings.
