Alice Mary was born in Toronto, Ontario, to Eleanor and Arthur McAlpine on Feb 18, 1933.  She married Jim in 1955 and they lived most of their married life in Ontario. In 1981 they moved to Regina, SK to be closer to their 4 daughters and grandchildren. Mom was an accomplished florist – she loved flowers and gardens. In her later years her dogs – Honey and then Molly, became her passion. She was an enthusiastic bridge player and would play tournaments several days a week. Mom loved sparkly things – jewelry and clothes – she always wore bright colors and beautiful jewelry. She would brighten any room! Many people have commented on what a happy, caring woman she was.  Mom was kind to all, and always supported those in need.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all who lovingly cared for her these last 6 months at the Gardiner Point Care Home, with special thanks to Monica Sugrim.
