Obituary of Ruth Vera McDonald

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Ruth on Friday, September 11, 2020.  She was predeceased by her parents and siblings Bill, Bud, Raymond, Marguerite and Florence; and her husband of 56 years, Gillies.  Left to cherish her memory are her son Kevin (Sheila) of Victoria, BC; daughter Elaine (Shawn, Sarah and Emily) of Calgary AB; long-time friend Bill Crawford of Carrot River, SK; sister-in-law Mary Knowler of Renton, WA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Ruth was devoted to her family and friends.  As a career woman, she worked at SaskPower for 25 years.  Upon retirement, Ruth and Gillies spent many winters in Mesa, Arizona.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan.
