It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother and Oma on Monday September 14, 2020. She was predeceased by her parents Andreas and Hilda Bosche and her brother Adolf Bosche. Erna leaves behind her husband of 65 years, John; son Dan (Maureen); cherished grandchildren Erin and Matthew (Jonathon); as well as siblings Kurt and Lisa.

Erna was employed by the Government of Saskatchewan and completed her career as Director of Human Resources for the Department of Agriculture. Her devotion and strong work ethic led to a successful 35-year career.

John and Erna resided in Regina and built a cottage at Sunset Cove in 1959 where the majority of their weekends were spent. Following their retirement, they moved to the lake where the cottage became their home quickly becoming the center of their lives where many longtime friendships were created. The annual pig roast of 25 years provided many drinks, good food and laughs.

Her two grandchildren and the time spent together remained her greatest source of pride.  Many laughs were shared and her love and support will remain with them forever.

The family wishes to extend their heart felt thank-you to Strasbourg Emergency Medical Services, the Regina General Hospital Emergency Department, the Saskatchewan Coroner Service, and Speers Funeral Chapel for their professionalism and compassion at this difficult time.

A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Saturday September 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with inurnment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
