Bill from Regina, SK is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Marlene Wirachowsky (Ken), Lori Ann Kirby (Dan) and Shannon Nixon; he was the proud grandfather to Cara (Mike), Melissa, Jordan (Lexi), Matthew, Allan and Jared. Also survived by Joyce’s siblings Ken (Fay) Gardiner, Marilyn Klein and Garry (Heather) Gardiner; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Joyce; his sister and brother-in-law Dean and Brian St.George; his parents Ellen and George Dunn; George’s second wife Jean Dunn; his mother and father-in-law Hazel and Gordon Gardiner and brother-in-law John Klein. We all cherish the special relationship with the Robertson family. Bill was born and raised on the farm in the RM of Elm Creek. He left the farm in 1954 to begin his career with RBC Royal Bank in Crystal City, MB. His career took him to many branches in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. Bill retired from RBC in 1992 as Senior Vice President of Retail Banking and Independent Business for SK. He had a very successful post retirement career with RBC helping clients reach their retirement goals. Bill enjoyed volunteering in the many communities in which he and Joyce lived. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family at their cabin in Clear Lake, MB. He had many interests including crib, bridge, golf, baseball, curling and dancing with Mom. We would like to thank all the people who helped us care for Bill in the last couple of years: Queen Victoria Estates; Life Force Care Team; doctors; nurses and pharmacist from 4A at the Pasqua Hospital. A private family service will be held. Bill was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #18 in Carman, MB.
