Sorry to hear of your passing. Thanks for all you did for me in Pile O Bones Toastmasters Club in the 1970’s, as you were always there to encourage and assist myself and others in our communication and leadership skills.

There are so many great memories of George. He was the only guy (to my knowledge) at the Y who was thoughtful enough to take coffees or hot chocolates from the ‘free’ machine in the health club out to the usually beleaguered front desk staff. He was a steadfast friend to Duane Alexander. His vision of an organic garlic farm on the land at Craven should have been a sure thing. For some reason, a number of years ago George, Frank Bourassa, and I went on a weekend-long road trip to Wolf Point Montana to look at a collection of John Deere tractors - one of the best road trips of my life. George will be genuinely missed. Very sincere condolences from Debb and I to Bev and the Tkach family.

I am very saddened to learn of George's passing. I worked for George at the time he was just starting to "wind down the practice" of which he never really did! I worked for him at the 13th Ave Office and when he moved to his home office, I worked for him on Saturday mornings in his "garage office". I loved it there. He gave me the appreciation for classical music that always played in the background and got me hooked on "hickory sticks"! He was a great boss, I looked forward to being there every Saturday, with the sun shining on us from all the east windows... George was comical, serious, kind, caring and will be so missed. My sincere condolences to Beverly and family. Rest in peace George.

To the Tkach Family:
I was sorry to read about George's passing.
My condolences to Bev and the entire family. I remember George very well
from the YMCA many years ago. My late father and George were very good friends
and the last time I saw George was when he came up to the General Hospital to visit
my late father shortly before his passing. A sign of a true and valued friend.

Dear Bev, Darca & family,
We are so saddened to have lost George our dear friend of 50 years. I met George at the YMCA upon my arrival in Regina whilst starting my Medical practice. Not knowing anyone it was so gratifying as George took me under his wings & was the first to welcome me & has remained my friend throughout all these years.
We will truly miss George as being George and being one of a kind and it won’t be same without him. May he rest in peace always!
Much love,
Dr Mo Abed & Sandy
