Obituary of Howard Eldred Richards

Howard passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the age of 85 years. He was predeceased by his mother Ellen (1935); father Clinton (1994); step-mom Norma (1992); wife Joyce (nee Dean); sister Lorna: brother Dale; brothers-in-law Bernie Drake, Fred Whiskar and Ray Fischer. Left to fondly remember him is his three children, Roxanne, Dean and Jill; sisters, Eleanor Fischer, Joyce Whiskar, and Val Liogier (Didier); brothers, Willard Richards (Helen) and Doug Richards; sisters-in-law, Darlene Richards and Diana Richards; special friends Heather and Brian Lowe; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Howard’s Pioneer Family on the 4^th floor. He loved the staff there and believed many of them were related to him. He lived there for eight years and they all called him HOWIE. He was in his new home at Bridgewater Senior Living for less than two weeks and they were already calling him PAPA.  There will be no funeral service at this time. If you have a chance to sit down and remember Howard, make sure you grab ice cream, a coffee or a beer; smile and tell a joke!
