As a young boy of about 8 years old, I clearly remember eagerly looking forward to my uncle Harold’s return home on leave from the Navy. I listened raptly to his accounts of assembling in a convoy, preparing to sail to England; and operating his ship’s signal lights to send messages. These are some of the most poignant memories of my childhood.
A very good man has gone.
With condolences from Phillip Ambrosi

In such loss, so much to be expressed. To the Hague family my condolences, Your father was an awesome step dad, he always made us feel welcomed and valued. His generosity, warmth and kindness was expressed with grace to my mother, we learned how to love another by his example. He also was a fun dancer. He is a hero, amazing man, a mover and a shaker. Dearly missed Harry, in loving honour glad to have met you. Marina and family. ox

So sorry to learn of the recent death of Harold John Hague. Although I never met Harold in person, Jan and I have been friends for approximately 60 years. Over the many years, she told me so many stories about Harold that paint a picture of this amazing individual. I send heartfelt sympathies to Jan and all the children. May he rest in peace.

I was saddened to learn of Harold's passing. Over the course of the years I had many occasions to have had contact with him - as a customer at Loggie's, as a City Councilor representing downtown, at Remembrance Day ceremonies and more - and it was always a pleasure to be in his company. He made Regina and Canada a better place because of his sacrifice and leadership. Please accept my sincere sympathy.

Although we didn't get to see each other much over the years , Harold had a big influence over me as my Step Father and husband to my Mom Jan, I always was extremely proud of Harold and his service to our Great Country and all he accomplished in his life. The citizens of Regina have lost a a huge presence in the community, for Harold was a very selfless Man and always gave back to the Great city of Regina , Harold will be sorely missed RIP
