The last time I saw Millie was a couple of years ago in a neighborhood grocery store. I was used to seeing her every day in our restaurant where she was in the kitchen serving up delicous food for the people of the Cathedral Village and any others who walked through our doors. She was beloved by every one who worked there and was extraordinary in that she listened carefully to every thing you said while sitting at the staff table occasionally offering useful advice on a wide range of personal issues that you might have. Millie was everyone's confidant and had a friendly smile and hello for everyone. I can still see her head over the kitchen serving window moving here and there as she made sandwiches and hamburgers and much else just the way you liked it. She was very professional in everything she did but was always quick to laugh and chat with all the people who worked there. I deeply regretted saying or doing anything that displeased or upset her but she was always generous in her forgiveness. I never met anyone that didn't love her and appreciate her. She was just that special to the Quality Tea Room and was treasured by every one.who worked with her. My very sincere condolences to her family and friends who will no doubt miss her terribly but are consoled by the multitude of happy memories of this wonderful person God gave to us. Dan Pradinuk
