Obituary of William Roman Labash

On Thursday, December 10, 2020, William Labash died at the age of 100 years and 4 months. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 77 years, Bertha in February of 2019; his parents John Labash and Matilda Halko and step-father Steve Halko; one brother; three sisters; and son-in-law Myrol Keleman. William is survived by his five children, Leona (John) Bencze, Darlene Keleman, Valerie (Louis) Fazakas, Lorne (Jane) Labash, and Randy (Donna) Labash; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; brother Edward Halko; sister Francis Cote; and numerous nieces and nephews. William and Bertha lived on their farm near Lestock, where William loved all aspects of his farm, his animals, his machinery, and his crops. Dad and mom retired to Regina in 2001 and lived on their own until November of 2018 when they moved into a care home. Funeral Service and Interment will be held at a later date. Those so wishing, may make a memorial donation in William’s name to a charity of their choice.
