Leona, died on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the age of 86 years in the Regina General Hospital.  Covid 19 from Parkside Extendicare took her life.  She was predeceased by her parents, Dan and Barbara Rieger; husband Steven Patrick; brothers, Tony and Ed Rieger; sister Delores Smith; sister-in-law Margaret Rieger and brother-in-law Gerry Hupp.  Leona is survived by her sister Dianne Hupp; sisters-in-law, Anita Rieger-Burns, and Anne Dormuth; brother-in-law Warren Smith; Godchildren, Shannon Nardin, and Judy Rieger; and many nieces and nephews.  A Private Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. To view the livestream of the service please click on the link above. Interment to follow in Riverside Memorial Park.  Leona was a very caring person and was always willing to help anyone in need.  She will be missed dearly.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Mary’s Church, 2026 Winnipeg St, Regina SK S4P 1G6.
