Dear Mariam, Omar, Aliyah, Zaire and families, My sympathies to you all, Dr Rahman was a wonderful man and doctor, I had the privilege of having him as a dr as a child and as well as an adult when he would cover for Dr. Lee I also have fond memories with you Aliyah when we were growing up and a funny memory of the first time your mom and dad came to the farm and walked through our barn.

I remember my grandma Fern hauling my brother Scott in to see Dr.Rahaman when he didn’t want to go to school and was playing sick. She must have called him as he played along and told Scott he was going to have to poke him with needles to see what was wrong...Scott quickly confessed!! Miriam,Omar,Aliyah & Zaida, My condolences on the passing of your dear Sheriff. How privileged we Churchbridge residents were to have Sheriff choose to set up his practice in our community. A visit to Sheriff’s office always left me smiling as he first helped medically then we had a friendly chat. As a former CES teacher , I remember Sheriff presenting an end of June bursary to a Gr 7 student prior to their move over to Gr 8 at CHS. This kind act affirmed Sheriff’s support for public education. Memories of your family will always remain in our hearts. Take care. Bev

Dr. Rahaman will always hold a special place in my heart. He was a wonderful man who our family trusted completely. I have no doubt he saved my Dad’s life more than once and my family has the utmost respect for him. He was the kindest and most gentle soul. He touched so many lives. May he be at peace. Doc was a good friend to our family. When our son, Kirk, was a little boy he had many allergies and Doc gave him his weekly allergy shots. He along with his office nurse would make it a 'game' for our son to receive his weekly shot. Not too many doctors would ever take the time to not only give a great shot, but spend time to entertain a frightened little boy. We have many fond memories of the entire family and know you are there to support each other at this time. RIP Doc, you served your patients well!

Dr Rahaman was truly one of a kind. He always had time to visit and often stood on the corner by his practice in Churchbridge and wave to everyone as they drove by. He was very professional and wasn’t hesitant to refer you to a specialist when in doubt. A very wise and intelligent man. The only doctor I’ve known to make house calls. I’m honoured to have known him and his family. Deepest sympathies to his family as I know he will be missed greatly.

I have many fond memories of Dr. Rahaman and his family, they were a very important component to our community. I recall playing at the Rahaman’s and I remember Dr. Rahaman making house calls to check on us when we were ill. He was a great Dr. but an even better person.
