My mom and I watched the memorial service together and many fond memories came to our minds as you read your tributes. I remember a time in my teen years when a word of encouragement from Peter lifted me up and made a difference. He was always thoughtful and considerate. I am grateful for having grown up with the fine examples of both Peter and Martha.

We first met Peter and Martha personally when they came to live in our condo complex. What a great addition to our little family! Of course, it wasn't long before Peter was president and running the show. That was Peter and what a fine contribution. Our knowledge of the Suderman family goes beyond that, though. Val did some of her medical training in Regina, so knew her through the Plains Health Centre. Derek and Ruth married so we knew them all through that angle. Your dad and grandpa was a fine man with a strong will that got him through some tough times. It is sad to lose both Grandpa and Grandma, but the memories and the legacies live on. May your faith sustain you during these difficult times.

So very sorry to hear of Peter's passing. I have know the Suderman family for over 70 years, dating back to the MacKay Street days. Peter's youngest sister Marguerite was a dear friend and we were inseparable growing up. Henry (Hank) was a good friend of my brother Murray. Helene and Martha were both my Sunday School Teachers at the little Mennonite Church across the street from me. I remember when Peter and Martha were married. Back in the 40's and 50's the little church was the backbone of McKay street and it drew many of us to Sunday School there even if we were not Mennonite. The street was like a close knit family. So much of it was due to the Suderman family. Thank you, Peter and family, for the memories.

Our deepest sympathies to the Suderman family on the loss of Peter from their lives. We will always remember his smile and firm handshake as he greeted one and all as we entered church for any activity that was going on.
