Dear Tara, Debby, Peter, Rob and families,
Our deepest condolences on the passing of your Mom. Our families were great friends and neighbours on Orchard Crescent for decades. Our Moms had great times, coffeeing together and chasing kids and dogs. Your Mom's hearty laugh and generosity are a special part of our memories. There was never a dull moment living beside the Clarkes. Our Mom's enjoyed volunteering together at the MacKenzie Art Gallery, well after they were no longer next door neighbours, which kept them connected throughout their lives. Gerry will be remembered fondly by so many. We know you have endless wonderful memories to cherish.
Our thoughts and prayer are with you.
Rich and Bernadette McIntyre

The Schwandt kids have many happy memories of spending time with our parents dear friends Bill and Gerry (and their kids). There was always lots of laughter when their family came to Strasbourg to attend our ice carnival or we drove to spend time with them at Manitou Beach. I remember Gerry giving me a personal art tour of all the paintings in the Clarke home. Bill preferred the landscapes and she loved portraits. After their husband's passed our Mothers had great fun traveling together. There was even more laughter and isn't that joy what life is all about? I am glad they were in one anothers lives and hope they are having a grand reunion now.
