Lois, I was just contacted with the sad news regarding the passing of Bob. It’s been 9 years since I retired and Janet & I moved to Calgary almost 7 years ago. In any event, I have thought often of Bob. I remember him as a thoughtful, mindful and caring individual. I’m sure in his “ insurance life” he was responsible for being of a great assistance to many families.

Aunt Lois, Shelley, Susan and Jody. This is a tough day today. Thank-you for streaming the service to us as we so wanted to be there in your time of grief. Bob was a great husband and father. He was a wonderful Uncle to me. I will always remember his bright smile and how he always made me feel. He would always be genuinely concerned about how I was doing whenever we met. As I was watching the service, I remembered how he loved golf. We had the chance to play together in Saskatoon and I was sure that it would be no contest. I was right! He beat MY ass!! He never let me forget it. LOL. He leaves all of us with fond memories and he is now in the arms of the Lord. Rest In Peace Uncle Bob

Condolences to Lois and family. I watched Bob's service today and was so grateful to be able to be part of of a lovely service. Growing up in Drumheller, AB, Bob was one of my, and my parent's, favourite individuals.! He touched so many people that I'm certain all our lives are better having known him. Rest in Peace Bob. Lois and Family .... My Thoughts and Prayers have been with you since I spotted Bob's obituary . Bob and I crossed paths several times since 1966 ? in Drumheller and again here in Regina . Bob was an early mentor of mine and a life long friend. Take comfort in the support of Family and Friends .... take care and stay safe. R.I.P. my Freind.

I close my eyes and see me standing proudly with you and Aunt Lois wearing that "itchy" blue dress with the big skirt as your flowergirl. The start of a new chapter of the long and fulfilling life you and Aunt Lois were so fortunate to enjoy. I still have the tiny sterling silver bracelet I was given on that day. Though life definitely threw you some curveballs, you weathered them with dignity and that big smile.
