Obituary of Jeffrey Gerald Lehto

In loving memory of Jeffrey Gerald Lehto-Alderson, loving son, father, and brother who suddenly passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. He was the cherished son of John and Janet Alderson; a protective brother of Jennah Alderson (Steven), and Crystal Joanisse-Christoforou (Chris), along with all of their children. Jeffrey was a proud father of Isabella, a step-father to Easton, and once a partner to their mothers, Jessica and Whitney. A grandson of Jaqueline Lehto (predeceased by Gerald Lehto) and a Godson to Gerald Lehto (Sheri). He was predeceased by his grandparents Larry and Heather Burke. Forever loved by numerous aunts and uncles and forever missed by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Jeffrey was born on January 27, 1990 in Sudbury, Ontario. He was a devoted self-employed, hardworking handyman, a Jack of all trades in many fields. He loved the outdoors; fishing and hunting were his passions. Jeffrey was an all-star at singing karaoke. His love for country music ran deep. His “beleaf” for the Toronto Maple Leafs was unbreakable. Jeffrey will always be remembered as a loving father to Isabella, he would light up when he talked about her, she was the best thing in his life and he couldn’t believe she was his.  In his heart, Easton would always be his step son. He loved teaching him new things, he always would ask how he was, and tried pushing his favourite team on him (haha).  He cared deeply for both their mothers, Jessica and Whitney, and they would be treasured friends to him always. As he leaves this world behind, his family takes comfort in knowing he can watch everyone from up above, sing as many songs as he wants, lead the leafs to a Stanley Cup, and catch the biggest fish he will ever have seen. We love you Jeff and your memories will forever live within your family, and mostly... Within your children.
