Obituary of Ivan John Drabycz

Ivan “John” Drabycz, late of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2021 at the age of 97 years. He was predeceased by parents Mikolaj Drabycz and Anna Mandziak; sisters: Olga, Maria and Eugenia and brother Borys. John is survived by his loving spouse Danuta “Donna”; daughters Sonia (Michael) Tomchuk, Sylvia (Adrian) Chandon and Darcia (Thomas) Bachman; grandchildren Nash, Sophia, Ivanka, Isabelle and Jay; brother Stefan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Europe. Ivan was born in Stuposiany, Ukraine but later immigrated to Canada where he settled down to raise his family in Regina. Funeral Service for immediate family took place at St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church on Thursday, January 28, 2021.
