Obituary of Otto Lionel Thompson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father, husband, brother, uncle and Moshom, Otto Lionel Thompson, who passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his loving wife Shirleen; daughter Allana; his brothers, Howie Thompson, Ron Thunder, Hubert Thunder, James Thompson, Ira Thompson, and Nelson Thompson; sister Catherine Mantee; parents Samuel and Christine Thompson; and his grandsons, Drake, Jack and Thomas in infancy. Otto will forever be cherished, missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Lionel, Tony, Presley (Lesley), Jamie (Randy), Jimmy, Leslie (Jordan), Alexis (Payton), Christopher, Judy (Leon), Heather (Quincy), Shelly and Kelly; siblings, Stuart, Ethel and Dennis; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Otto was a loving devoted husband and father who was quiet and supportive and will be missed greatly. Private Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Wake will take place at Little Pine First Nation on Thursday, January 28, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at Little Pine Elders Hall, Little Pine First Nation, SK, on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Band Elders officiating.
